DON'T WATCH "In Debt We Trust" ALONE I watched In Debt We Trust after hearing Danny Schechter's tallk. It was riveting and entertaining, but also more frightening than a horror film because it was real and because my family is the victim. I'm going to watch it again with my kids, though I don't know it it will make a difference. The forces that are working to get people to shop (with plastic, of course) are so much of our culture. Gosh, even I'm rooting for a strong Holiday economy and want to do my part. Let's Go Shopping!! |
