In this Introduction to Humanism, people at the 1988 Humanist World Congress in Buffalo, NY, give their personal definitions of Humanism. For some it is a religion for others a philosophy, an ethics, a way of life. After hearing them, you might discover that you are a Humanist.

Isaac Asimov is known as a science fiction writer and clear thinking scientist and author. In this 1989 talk he addresses the threats to humanity, particularly of global warming and nuclear proliferation.  He also gives his idea for saving humanity.
